About Soul Animals
Your soul animal is a representation of what defines you. It is a creature that lines up perfectly with your state of mind.
There is nothing physical about your soul animal- It is determined by who you are, not factors about yourself that you were born with. Likewise, physical things such as your gender, birthdate, eyecolor and similar attributes have nothing to do with it.

There are three parts to your Soul Animal. The one that holds the most importance is the Animal- The Animal is the base which the other two, the Illusion and the Variation, are built upon.
Your Animal is a reflection of yourself: what you believe in and your attitude. The Animal is the ‘inside’, your core.
This is category is almost unlimited- do not expect results to only reflect more obvious animals such as wolves, eagles and wildcats- for although they are a possibility, this is not about which animal you like best, but which animal represents you best.
The Illusion is how you see and react to the world around you. It can be represented by: Shades of Green, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Pink, and in much rarer cases, bright reds and yellows.
Each color means something a bit different, but consider it a scale.
- Green- Someone whose reactions are dictated mainly by their feelings. People who “follow their hearts”.
- Blue
- Indigo- People who are balanced, they use both their heart and their mind to determine their reactions.
- Purple
- Pink- Someone whose reactions are dictated mainly by their mind as opposed to their feelings.
Meanwhile, Yellows and Reds are extremes in either direction. (A person with a yellow illusion being someone who almost exclusively follows their heart, a red illusion being someone who almost exclusively follows their mind.)
The Variation is how you present yourself, it’s determined by how you make yourself seem to others. It is represented by a second color- The variation comes in all shades of brown, gray, and orange, along with dull reds, dull blues, and occasionally yellows.
Variations are less like a scale in that each color means something very specific.
This is part of why receiving a soul animal is so personal. Humans are unique, and no quizilla quiz will be able to give you accuracy.
Soul Animals are not Power Animals, Spirit Guides, Familiars, or physical beings, but representations of yourself.
They can be considered in the same way you would a zodiac. Soul Animals have their own compatibility and traits, but they’re much more specific to you.
